Many things to speak of, I apologise for eating any of your time.
First off, I haven't fully absorbed all the background material, but I do like what I see. Wonderful ideas for Cycle of Existence (I particularly like the paragraphs about Faith being everything.) and I'm looking forward to running a game. I'll definately keep you updated.
If you don't mind, I'm running into some wierd typos and errors here. I looked around the website and haven't seen anything like Errata or corrections, so if it's cool with you I'll just start dropping everything I find into this thread here so you can fix it for later editions as you wish. Also, if I happen to be wrong and am just not understanding something, please let me know.
Suggestion:
Might want to change Font for the Table of Contents, all the S's looks like G's.
Suggestion:
I really like the Edicts of the different gods, but you might want to come up with some for the Fates, Elementals and Dark Gods. Assist in NPC motivation and reasoning, as it were.
Error - Pg. 30, Progressive Actions, 4th Paragraph: "His first roll is 58, giving him a 20 margin of success (19 to go)." [Correction: should be (32 to go) since the target needed is 52.] "His second roll is 89: failure, reducing his current margin of success by 13 and thus down to 6." [Correction: should be "and thus down to 7" as 20-13=7.] "...Edgar rolls again, this time 25; margin of success 53 making his total 59." [Correction: should be "...making his total 60." since we're adding the 7 from above.]
Possible Error - Pg. 31, Critical Failure & Double-Zero, 1st Paragraph: "When an action is failed on a roll or 95-99, the action is considered a critical failure." [Correction: should be "...failed on a roll of 92-99,"?] [This is possibly my mistake, but I see 95-99 and 92-99 referenced repeatedly. 92-99 is autofail and if it's 95-99 it's critfail?]
Error - Pg. 32, Beyond Rank 7, 2nd Paragraph: "...have a margin of success of 76 + 13 for a total of 90..." [Correction: should be "77 + 13"]
Grrr. More later, if allowed, I'm swamped in idiot.
