Do the Silana have a Royal Family/Noble Line ?
I ask because with my character Elune, her Grace, Poise, Breeding, Gentleness, Piety and Beauty imply she has Noble Blood in her veins, not that of a commoner such as Scarlet/Luunie or J (the npc).
Her late father always called her "Daddy's Little Princess) so it must be true , right?
Right?

Interesting question ... don't know the answer to it.
I do have a personal opinion (too little time to say now!); but I certainly don't know of any official line! I suppose that the answer is that they could have! I'll have to think about it :)

When I envisioned the Silana, I saw a tribal culture that was something crossed between Native Americans and early Anglo-Saxon: this is a culture that respects strength and honor, but is also in tune with the natural world. In the Anglo-Saxon sense their tone is very Elegiac: there was a time when the Irlane, the race from who the Silana are descended, were the seat of nobility for Zaira, but the great war in which the Dark's forces very nearly defeated existence, known in Zairan history as the Age of Sorrows, left them scattered and virtually extinct. Those who survived fled to the far corners of the Outlands and began again. Much of Silana culture, even centuries later, still bears this loss: they are the antithesis of the reckless joy of the Asana-Lea. To the Silana the world is a decaying place where life is fleeting and all friends inevitably fall to the sword or winter.
So, generally speaking, there is little status of nobility among the Silana as I originally wrote them, but rather respect for wisdom and skill.

Thanks for that .
We (the painter and I) had discussed the native american angle and had more or less settled on that anyway.
Damn she wanted to be a princess sooo badly though. ;)

Interesting! Thanks for the information. I do remember reading (in the racial section of the rules) that the Silana once had a more refined culture prior to being nearly being wiped out by the Dark, followed by a diaspora and a reversion to a more simple/tribal culture. It appears that there's quite a bit more to this story than you've had a chance to reveal as yet; although you did give some hints!
At any rate, tribal works for me; as does being in touch with nature, and the honour/integrity aspects of the culture. As Elune said, we were using those aspects anyway. I'll have to think about how to work in any Anglo-Saxon/Elegiac aspects though ... for when (if) they eventually meet the Silana ;)
:) Don't worry about Elune, she was only really interested in acquiring a 'My Little Princess Horse Set' ... she's been told that it's PINK!!! :)
