Well it's been a good long while since I really did some work on seven13 or CoE and this summer I've had the time and the drive, thanks to playing in a hell of a campaign lately. I've been doing some major deep-level analysis of the system and I've been working on some serious revision as well as the new web site and all that. So here's the deal (Especially for my mates across the pond):

I want complaints, concerns etc you've run into with the seven13 rules to the greatest degree you can muster. If you ignore a rule in the system, please tell me why your crew chooses to ignore it. If a rule bothers you in the way it affects the game or the way it works, let me know. Anything you can think up I'm interested in.

The rules set you're playing was codenamed 'Omega3' if you wanted to know. I had these names because I have a bookshelf of notes and 15 years yields a lot of major revisions. The one I'm working on now is codenamed 'Axiom' - when I have it ready to be tested you will get the rules update here the same as my own crew does. Let me know what you come up with and I will answer and address all of it - I'm on here at least once a day lately.

Hmmm! Complaints, concerns, house rules, etc... Well, we'll see what we can put together for you. That being said, it might be some time before you get a measured response from any of us on this side of the pond; because of personal reasons.

Actually, our game is on a hiatus at the moment due to the personal reasons. As I mentioned, in another post, my brother is currently in hospital, and if that isn't bad enough, Lunnie's mother has gone into hospital too. Arghhhh! We're all 'crocks' on this side of the Atlantic!

So, all in all, we're all a bit distracted at the moment, and it may take a bit of time to put together a response; but we'll get there ... probably! :p

PS: Thanks for your 'best wishes' for my brother; his operation is tomorrow ... then we wait and see :(

PPS: Any news or updates on your mother Lunnie? Give her our best!

PPPS: 15 years yields a lot of major revisions That's a LOT of game mechanics! No wonder you need codenames to keep it straight!

Egads, I'm sorry to hear about all of that. I've never met any of you, but I hold your crew in high regard - you all have been the ones keeping this online bit going since the beginning and it's due to that in no small part that's kept me on this through all of my outside conflicts over the last few years. Take all the time you need (obviously) - I mainly wanted to involve you all in the process of the new revision and I will continue to do so. I built Broken Doll, seven13 and CoE, but you the players are what's kept it going.

I didn't want to give you a sob story really! :p I just wanted you to know that we weren't just ignoring your posts and to explain the reason for the delayed response.

We certainly appreciate your wanting to involve us in the development process; actually, we're quite flattered :p and we will put something together; it's always nice to have your opinions canvassed.

Cheers for the concern again :)

Haha I can't give anyone on this board crap about taking a long time to do anything ;)

The best I manage to do is keep the forum going and update it every now and again, though lately I have been doing some work on things again. It helps to drop by and see that at least you guys still keep it up here.

The rule change we made which affected Elune the most was raising the range of the FAME Aspect from 1-3, to 1-7 (max starting level 2 or 3), making the journey to real fame a wee bit longer (especially as The Painter only hands out XP once a year if we are lucky :( ).
