And play What the...?
...Sorry, that cracked me up...

I had a couple more, my friend and I made some when we were bored, had a digital camera and CCG Maker. I might put some more up in a while, when I get a program to make them and a camera. There's one that's called Whipping Boy, and has a picture of me, and the text is something about my mom, which my friend (Zan) has on his computer. I'm glad you enjoyed the card.
For those of you who don't understand: What the...? (http://www.deviantart.com/view/27565768/).
Yes, that is me.[/url]

What The... is off color. It should be Black, or Black/Green at best. Discard belongs to the swamps... Yess....
I tap the Urzatron and two Forests, Tooth and Nail with Entwine, bring Kiki-Jiki and Darksteel Colossus into play. Tap Mirror Breaker, send a Colossus token your way. Make peace with your Gods.

... I think someone just got owned...
How are the new blocks/sets? Are they bringing in more new abilities?

Nowadays, they're on a keywording spree and introducing them every block... nay, every SET.
However, we're in the midst of the Ravnica Block (first was Ravnica, City of Guilds, the second was Guildpact, and the third one to be released later is Dissention), one of the most intruiging blocks to come out yet... multicolor with a twist, it's Invasion all over again without being Invasion. It sells like hotcakes, if you have to know. And I -love- the guilds!
The previous play was the finishing play of a Mirrodin-based deck (set from 2 years ago), which had the primary goal of accelerating to 9 mana as quickly as possible, then playing the signiture Tooth And Nail, which searches two creatures out and puts them into play. Darksteel Colossus is an 11/11 monstrosity with Trample and Indesructable (can't be destroyed or killed with combat damage) and reshuffles itself into the library whenever it finds itself in the graveyard. Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker is a Legendary red Goblin with Haste and the ability to create a token copy of any non-Legendary creature for one turn, also with Haste.
As you noted yourself, someone just got owned...

I remember Mirrodin, it was the set that killed my love for the new sets. I think I had a Darksteel Colossus that was a foil.
I was thinking of buying some Ravinica, but decided against it when I figured it would have new stuff that I wouldn't like.
Do they still have those weird cards from the block after mirrodin that flip over?

Flip cards are strictly Kamigawa at the moment, just like Morph was Onslaught. But be sure that it shall return one day.
However, I hear that Split cards are returning (briefly) in Dissention.

Which were the split cards? I think I remember them. They were the Invasion block ones that were an instant and a sorcery of different colors, right?
Solarious

Sorta. They're two spells on the same card, of two different colors. They could be both instants, both sorceries, or one of each.
I wonder what take on the splits that WoTC will unleash upon the unsuspecting world of Magic?

I remember those now. Maybe they'll do split creatures, which I think they had one or two of before.

Wasn't that how the flip creatures came to be?
Domini

I thought that they were you did something and you got to flip the creature, and the split cards were choose one or the other, where one was strong while the other was weak and vice versa (like a 2/1 and a 1/2 that you had to choose from).

Kamigawa killed my hopes and dreams. Spirits were so much better in Odyssey and Onslaught blocks.
Your card is totally broken by the way, it doesn't say anything about not using the ability during your opponents turn.
And yeah, it probably should be black. But then again... there was Mirri...

Probably Blue/Black because that could be a damn effective counterspell if you cleared their hand out before they could cast something big.

hahaha!
"I tap all twelve of my lands and play..."
"No, discard your hand."

Shot down...

And hey, it's not as broken as half of the stuff in the Urza's Block. That set had more broken cards than an antique roadshow has broken lamps after a third grade field trip.

Heh, right now, I have seen very powerful decks come out, specially with the addition of Coldsnap into the fray of type 2 Standard decks. Though, Snakes on a Plane (yes, that's the name of the deck) or Ghost Daddy are really good, once K-Block rotates out, taking the Jitte with it, the balance should fall mainly on control decks.
Personally, I always play U/something. Though recently, I have found myself playing B/G/U (and blue is just the splash) as a basic combo Reanimator.
The Ravnica Block is really a very good block, having everything and anything at the same time. Though I'm still trying to find the perfect combo with Boborygmos, the turn 3 Simic Sky Swallower reanimated with a Vigor Mortis, making it a 7/7 Trample, Flying that can't be targeted by spells or abilities seems to be working really well.

The Sky swallower is one of my fav pinch-hitters. :-D But that might be largely because I like the Simic's intentions and methods.
Personally I'm the maddest Johnny player in the world, my fav always will be to bust out the myr retrievers.
What about those new multicolor split cards?! AWESOMECAKES!
My fav is ... Hide/Seek I think it was...?
...awesomecake...

Heh, speaking of which, the G/B/U reanimator just turned into a G/B/R LD. In all honesty, that combination of colors for the LD comes out pretty fun. The kill condition for the deck is the Grave-Shell Scarab.
It's fun having turn 3 LD with Creature removal (using Rolling Spoil) and Land Removal (using Caustic Rain). Having a couple of Naturalize Main Decked helps with Glares or Faiths Fetters and what not and against pesky control decks (specifically counters), Wreak Havoc. Some Loaming Shamans and a couple of Recover for Graveyard Restoring, Birds for mana acceleration and Putrefy for CControl. Top it off with 2 Wit's End (just to screw with their hand, especially because they can't play anything, and I don't feel secure that when my LD slows down, they'll recover just a bit).
It's a fun deck to play.
-----------------
Also, my U/W/B Arbiter Orzhov Control is a fun and annoying deck to play. Remands, Rune Snag and Controvert are your Counter Defences, Wrath of God and Evacuations are your Board Clearers, Adarkar Valkyrie and Ghost Council of Orzhova are the Killing conditions while you have the Grand Arbiter Augustin IV on the back annyoing the opponents while you lay in the beats.
I'll probably post my decks later.
c'ya.

I'm going to have to post Sara's "Bitch" deck sometime. Just because it's so funny to run it.
I'll have to run to my other comp and dig up my decks sometime and show them off.
Because I'm a showoff.
And they're so cool...
