Well it's been a lot longer than I thought it would be, but the new site is up and running. Now, that doesn't mean that it all works perfectly, but it's running - so there's that. So I'll go over with all of you some of the changes and whatnot that have been going on and what will be upcoming for the site in the next couple of weeks - it has to all be done by then because afterword I'll be gone on tour.

What's Added
_________________________________________________

The site is now handled through a Content Management System (CMS) called Joomla! that allows Church and whomever else and I to more easily administer everything in the anticipation and possiblilty that after the promo tour we actually may have some serious traffic. The integration the CMS provides should also help make this more of a community, which is what I originally intended it to be.
The Forum is now integrated into the site, along with all of your logins. You should be able to login to the site and see the forum and post here as well as post comments to the blog if you like.
Added inro for retailers
Integrated the blog/rants page into the site.
The Wiki Site is now open

What's Coming (in the next 2 weeks)
_________________________________________________

The Store, functioning and accepting PayPal as well as a full complement of credit card payments with shipping options and all that good stuff. Will include the book as well as two Tshirt designs and stickers for your car/computer/whatever
A files section that is more organized and serves us all in a better fashion, including an updated version of The Siege, new generic [7/13] Character sheets (much cleaner version) and soon after more intro scenarios that I designed for the tour demos
Some neat little fun facts about the origins of the game, the company, and more tidbits about upcoming things that will display here and there
More cool stuff on the Wiki site
Touring schedule and, while on tour, a tour diary via the blog section with photos and updates from wherever I end up driving to.
Much more than I can think of when I haven't been to sleep yet and it's 8:15am

So there you have it for now, and I will be updating more everyday continuously. I really want to know about any problems that anyone runs into so that I can fix them ASAP. Also, if you have suggestions and whatnot I'd love to hear them and try to integrate them into the site if it's time-effective and whatnot. As always, I'm pretty much the only one working on this as well as a thousand other things.

My first order of business is to get the store up, but if you are looking to order the book ASAP it is available from http://www.taloncomics.com. Even when I do get the store up, I'd prefer you buy the book from a retailer when possible, it supports the company and the game far better than ordering it straight from us. Anyways, that's it for now I suppose. Let me know what you all think.

Looks good man.

Can't wait to have enough money to buy a copy for myself.

Thanks for listening to me "freak out" on the phone. I was kind of into it.

Dude.. I'd fire your editor. The grammar and spelling on a "professional" site makes baby Jesus cry... more than when he's being fed to Cthuluh. We'll just try and convince people that English is your second language. (To High Speech naturally)

The new site looks awesome, Ashe, and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the book.

Just one question though, is this "updated version" of The Seige going to be missing all the nifty gameplay stuff because of the book's release?

No the Siege will have all the same content as before - I'm just editing it one more time and cleaning up the look.

Generally I'll hang my head in shame about the grammar thing for ya bro, but I make no apologies for grammer after working 18 hours straight doing code for several days in a row. :-P
